PIG PEN BEDDINGS

Materials:

Sawdust/Coirdust
Carbonized Rice Hull (CRH)
Soil
Salt

Procedure:

Make a small batches and layer the components after they are mixed. Make a mixture of 10 sacks sawdust/coir dust, 1 sack soil etc. then spread out and mix next batch till you have 1 meter deep.  Spray the EMAS 1:100 dilution rate, add water to 40% moisture. Continue the process till the 1 meter deep hole for bedding is filled.

Poultry Feed Mix – Organic (Ducks, Chicken, etc.)

Materials:

Pig feed mix(above)=2kg
Cracked corn=2kg
Rice bran (D1)=2kg
Copra meal=2kg
Soya meal or duckweed=2kg
Livestock lime=1 tbsp
Salt=1 tbsp

Procedure:

Mix all the materials in a container/pale and feed directly to chickens. No fermentation is required.  For chickens, serve it dry. For ducks, mix with 3 liters of water before serving.

AGRI SECRETS

ORGANIC FERTILIZERS AND EFFECTIVE MICRO ORGANISMS(EM) MICROBIAL INOCULANTS

How to make EMAS or EM Activated Solution using non-chlorinated water

Materials:

1 liter capacity plastic container
50 ml EM-1 Concentrate
50 ml Molasses or 50 g brown sugar
1 liter of non-chlorinated water

Procedure:

1. Dissolve 50 ml molasses/50g brown sugar to 1 liter non-chlorinated water

2.  Add 50 ml EM-1 and mix well

3.  Cover the container tightly.  Keep it at room temperature away from direct sunlight

4.  On the 3rd day, loosen the cap to release the gas inside the bottle and tighten again.

5.  Start using EMAS in 8th day.  It should have sweet-sour smell. Use EMAS within 1 month.

How to make EMAS using 'hugas-bigas' (Rice wash)

Materials:

1 liter capacity plastic container
30 ml Molasses or 30g brown sugar
30 ml EM-1  Concentrate
1 liter Hugas bigas (1st wash is best)

Procedure:

1.  Collect 1 liter of hugas bigas

2.  Mix 30 ml molasses or 30g brown sugar

3.  Add 30 ml EM-1 concentrate and mix well

4.  Cover the container tightly. Keep it away from direct sunlight.

5.  On the 3rd day, loosen the cap to release the gas inside the bottle and tighten again

6.  Start using fermented hugas bigas on the 8th day. It should have sweet-sour smell.

Use fermented hugas bigas within 1 month

VARIOUS APPLICATION OF EM TECHNOLOGY

FOR CROP PRODUCTION

Seed Germination

Dilute 1 ml of EMAS/EMRW to 1000 ml of water.  Soak seeds for 30 min to 1 hour before sowing.  Improves germination rate and prevents seed-borne diseases

Land Preparation

Dilute 1 liter of EMAS/EMRW into 200 liters of water.  Spray/drench freely, approximately 4 liters of diluted solution per square meter for soil conditioning.  Improves soil porosity, inoculates beneficial organisms into the soil, attracts earthworms and eliminates pathogenic micro organisms.

Crop Maintenance

Dilute 20 ml EMAS/EMRW per liter of water and apply as drenching direct to the soil once a week.  The micro organism will feed and decompose organic matter and convert it into plant food.  Improves soil porosity, inoculates beneficial organisms into the soil, attracts earthworms and eliminates pathogenic micro organisms.

Foliar Spray

Dilute 10 ml of EMAS/EMRW per liter of water and spray it onto the leaves and stems of plants 2 times a week. Photosynthetic bacteria  in EM helps to maximize the utilization of solar energy and enhance photosynthetic capability of leaves, thus promotes better foliage and food production capability of the plant.

To learn more about detailed hands-on application(Rice production, High value crops,  Orchard, Herbs, Animal Husbandry, Water treatment, Treatment of ponds and lakes,  Vermiculture, Garbage recycling)   of EM Technology, attend our 3-day intensive seminar on Integrated Natural Farming and EM Technology Workshop
